While the post-mortem on Mayo’s inglorious exit from the Connacht championship went on over the week and will go into the future, it’s back to basics this weekend for the inter county football panel when they rejoin their club mates for the first round proper of action in the Royal Theatre senior and intermediate championships.

Kilkenny GAA Supporters Club reviewed a very successful year for both the club and county at its AGM held in Nowlan Park recently. The well-attended meeting included a number of members of the Kildare-based Supporters Club who travelled to attend the AGM.

The Mayo ladies’ senior football team will wrap up their 2010 National Football League campaign when they square off against old rivals Cork in Ballinrobe on Sunday at 3pm.
